2009-Jul 25 to Aug 01: The 94th World Congress of Esperanto (Universala Kongreso) is in Bialystok, Poland - celebrating 150th anniversary of the birth of L.L.Zamenhof (the founder of Esperanto) in this town. (Not organised by EAB, but EAB members can pay fees in Pounds Sterling through the EAB office.)

2009-Aug-10 to 14: The annual Esperanto Summer Festival at Wedgwood Memorial College, Barlaston; a range of activities for using, practising and studying Esperanto. 2009-Dec-15: Zamenhof Day celebrates the birtday of Esperanto's initiator. Some Esperantists choose to buy an Esperanto book or celebrate Esperanto literature.

2010 EAB Events

2010-May-14 to 16: The 2010 British Esperanto Congress is in Llandudno, North Wales.

2010-Summer: The 95th World Congress of Esperanto (Universala Kongreso) is in Havana, Cuba. (Not organised by EAB, but EAB members can pay fees in Pounds Sterling through the EAB office.)

2010-Aug: The annual Esperanto Summer Festival at Wedgwood Memorial College, Barlaston; a range of activities for using, practising and studying Esperanto.
