These cards are designed to be used with the Esperanto version of Mil Unuaj Vortoj en Esperanto (First Thousand Words) and the childrens' course Urso-Kurso.
Together, the cards and book provide valuable back-up language work and encourage a close study of words, clearly an important language-learning skill for children to acquire. By fostering an awareness of the underlying structure of language in general, they aim to encourage manipulation of language elements to build new words and expressions. The cards relate to the memory-maps included in the Urso-Kurso course, and should give an opportunity for reinforcement and use of vocabulary. The first activity card should be presented some time after the first memory-map Koloroj has been completed.
