How to find us
Our head office and bookshop are at Esperanto House, on the campus of the Wedgwood College (also known as Wedgwood Memorial College) (next to Estoril House): click here for a map.
If approaching from Barlaston station, head east to climb Station Road and, at the top of the hill, go past the first entrance to Wedgwood Memorial College and the private road Coton Rise (on your left), then turn left into the driveway leading to Estoril House and Esperanto House.
Trains do not stop at Barlaston station but there are regular bus services between Barlaston and Stoke; the journey takes about 35 minutes.
- Bakerbus service 350 stops at the Plume of Feathers pub, Station Road (near Barlaston station).
- Bakerbus service X1 stops at Orchard Place (near Barlaston station).
If you come by taxi, do emphasise that your destination is the Wedgwood Memorial College and not the Wedgwood Visitor Centre (as drivers sometimes confuse the two).
For a list of other attractions in the vicinity, see this TimesOnline Travel article.

The office and bookshop are normally open 9:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, but we do recommend that you check in advance, to confirm the opening hours for the day you plan to visit.
EAB members can visit the Butler library by appointment; again it is worthwhile calling ahead, since the library room is sometimes booked for courses or meetings.
When a residential Esperanto course is being run at Wedgwood Memorial College, arrangements can sometimes be made to open the bookshop and the library during course breaks; again, it's best to ask about this in advance.
If you need to stay overnight, the Wedgwood Memorial College can sometimes offer a bed and breakfast service (depending on availability of rooms). EAB members may be able to negotiate a discount on the college's normal B&B rate (at the college's discretion), but note that booking and payment must be directly between you and the college itself.
